With Fall quarter starting, many student dance groups are back to dancing indoors! Here’s a week-view of all dance events I know of at Stanford. Let me know if I missed any since I may not know everything!

Dancebreak: Mondays @ Roble Gym, big studio (113)
Primarily a practica for students taking Richard Power’s dance classes at Stanford, but all are welcome.
Stanford Ceili: Tuesdays @ different locations throughout Stanford (check website or Google calendar)
Ruedamores de Stanford: Wednesdays @ White Plaza (stage next to Dinkelspiel Auditorium)
Stanford Tango Club: Wednesdays @ BCC or Koret Pavillion (check website)
Oct 26 – Dec 7: 6 week series (skipping Thanksgiving week) @ Koret Pavillion
7:45 – 8:45pm Fundamental series
9:15 – 10:15pm Intermediate series
10:15pm – midnight Practica
Series pricing: $20 students, $35 affiliates, $60 others

8pm – 9pm Intermediate class
9pm – 10pm: Social!

9-11:30pm on Oct 7th and Dec 9th (Nov is replaced by Fall Ball on Nov 11th)

12:30PM – DJ’ed dancing with DJ Rhapsody
Cardinal Squares: Sundays @ Community Room of the Black Community Services Center
* GCC Dance: once a month on the weekend @ Graduate Community Center (GCC) or Hacienda Commons
Organized by Richard Powers’ students and former students, GCC dances play all the familiar social dances: cross-step waltz, swing, rotary waltz, polka, tango, hustle, and more
